DSType is an independent type design studio and foundry creating typefaces with character, purpose and lasting relevance. Our team brings together type designers Dino dos Santos and Pedro Leal, and product designer Antonieta Costa. Through research, craft and experimentation, we transform historical references, cultural influences and contemporary ideas into typography that is distinctive, functional and ready for the real world. For more than 30 years, DSType has explored the possibilities of type across identities, publications, institutions and international events, with a particular interest in expressive design and multilingual typography.
