Licensing
For most creative and design work, the Desktop License is the one you need. It covers using our fonts to create things like print materials, branding, logos, packaging, advertising, social media graphics, presentations, illustrations, and other static artwork. If you need to embed the font itself in a website, app, or other specialised environment, you’ll need the corresponding license.
The Desktop License lets you install and use the font on licensed workstations to create personal or commercial creative work. You can use the font for a wide range of projects, including print, branding, logos, packaging, advertising, presentations, social media, illustrations, and digital artwork. A standard Desktop License covers up to 5 workstations in one geographic location. Additional users can be added through a license extension.
Yes. If you're using the font to create graphics, images, illustrations, or other artwork for your website, your Desktop License covers that use. If the font itself is embedded in your website and served to visitors, you'll need a Web License. A standard Web License covers one domain and up to 2 million page views per month. Additional domains or higher traffic levels can be covered with an appropriate license extension.
Yes, but if the font file is embedded in an app or software, you'll need an App/Mobile App License. The basic license covers one commercial app or mobile app with read-only font embedding. The font must be securely embedded and protected from being extracted or used outside the licensed app. If your app allows users to create or edit text using the font, or if you need to use the font in additional apps, you'll need the appropriate license extension. The basic license is annual and covers up to 25,000 registered users.
Yes. Our Broadcasting License covers the use of the font in one title for TV, video, and motion picture projects, worldwide and perpetually.
You can use the font for titles, credits, and other onscreen text.
The Broadcasting License doesn't cover products or merchandise where the typography becomes part of the product or its visual design, such as movie posters, books, packaging, T-shirts, or mugs. These uses may require an additional license.
A standard Desktop License covers up to 5 workstations in one geographic location.
If you need to cover a larger team, you can add additional users through a license extension. Our online licensing options go up to 200 users; if you need more than that, just get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help.
Yes. You can provide the font to a commercial printer or service bureau when they need it to produce a specific document or piece of printed material for you.
The font should only be used for that particular job, and the printer or service bureau must delete or destroy their copy once the job is complete.
Font files can't be freely shared, lent, sublicensed, or redistributed.
You can keep one additional backup copy for archival purposes, provided it is securely stored and controlled.
If someone else needs to install or use the font themselves, they will generally need their own license.
Absolutely. You can deliver finished artwork created with the font to your clients, and they don't need a font license just to use that finished artwork.
However, if your client needs to open or edit the source files and therefore needs to use the font themselves, they'll need their own appropriate license.
The font software can't be modified, adapted, or used to create a derivative font without our written permission.
This includes things like changing spacing or kerning, adding or removing characters, or creating additional weights or styles.
If you have a specific modification in mind, feel free to get in touch with us.
Yes. If your needs change, you can upgrade your license or purchase the appropriate license extension.
For example, you might need additional Desktop users, another website domain, or additional apps. Just choose the relevant extension or get in touch with us if you're unsure what you need.
Licenses are non-transferable and non-assignable, so they can't be transferred to another person or company. If your business circumstances change and you're unsure what happens to your license, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help.
Trial Fonts
Trial Fonts let you test a typeface before purchasing a full license. You can use them to create mockups and explore how the typeface works in your print, web, or app designs before committing to a license.
Trial Fonts include a limited character set and do not contain OpenType features. They are designed for testing and evaluation rather than final production work.
No. Trial Fonts are for testing and evaluation only and should not be used in commercial or final projects. Once you're ready to use the typeface in a commercial project, you'll need to purchase the appropriate license.
Yes. You can use Trial Fonts to create mockups for design approval before committing to a full license. However, the Trial Font itself should remain within your design environment and should not be distributed outside of it.
No. Trial Fonts are provided for testing within your design environment and should not be distributed to others. If someone else needs to test the typeface, they should download their own Trial Font.
No. Trial Fonts are intended for testing only. Once a design is approved and you want to use it commercially, you'll need the appropriate full license.

Tech Support
If you’re having trouble installing a font, first make sure you’ve downloaded the correct font files and that your operating system is up to date. If the problem persists, get in touch with us and let us know which operating system you’re using and which font you’re having trouble with. We’ll do our best to help.
Make sure the font is properly installed and that you’re using the latest version of your design software. If the problem continues, please contact us with details about the software you’re using, your operating system, and what’s going wrong. If possible, include a screenshot so we can better understand the issue.
Not necessarily. Different typefaces may include different character sets, and Trial Fonts in particular contain a limited character set. Check the typeface’s character set information first, and if you think something is missing that should be included, get in touch with us.
First, check that you’re using the full version of the font rather than a Trial Font, as Trial Fonts do not include OpenType features. If you’re using a licensed font and a feature isn’t working as expected, let us know which software and operating system you’re using and, if possible, provide an example of the issue.
We’d love to know. Please contact us with the name of the typeface, the font style or weight, the software and operating system you’re using, and a description or screenshot of the problem. If you can provide a file showing the issue, even better. This helps us investigate and fix it as quickly as possible.
Of course. If you can’t find the answer in our FAQ, just get in touch with us. The more information you can provide about your setup and the issue you’re experiencing, the easier it will be for us to help.
